Apex Legends Aimbot Settings Guide

Apex Legends Cheats, Published 5 Oct 2026

The difference between an aimbot that helps and one that gets you reported is almost always the settings. Most players who struggle with aim assistance features are running them too hard.

FOV

FOV here means the field of view the aimbot considers when picking a target. A small FOV only reacts to enemies close to your crosshair, which feels natural. A large FOV can snap to targets far from where you are looking, and that is what looks suspicious. Start small and increase only if you find it too restrictive.

Smoothing

Smoothing controls how quickly your aim moves to a target. Low smoothing means fast, sharp movement. Higher smoothing slows it and makes the motion look more like a person tracking. In a game as movement heavy as Apex, higher smoothing is usually the better starting point.

Target selection

Many aimbots let you choose what to aim at, such as head or chest. Chest is more forgiving in Apex because of the constant strafing and sliding. Headshot focus can look impressive but is also the quickest way to stand out.

Keybinds and activation

Setting the aim to activate only while you hold a key, such as when aiming down sights, makes behavior more natural than an always on setting. It also gives you control over when it helps.

Weapons behave differently

Settings that feel right on a smooth tracking weapon can feel wrong on a burst or hard hitting one. If your menu supports different profiles or a config system, save separate setups so you are not changing sliders in the middle of a match.

A starting approach

Begin with a small FOV, noticeable smoothing, and chest targeting on the Aimbot module page. Play a few matches and adjust one value at a time. Make changes slowly so you can tell what each one does.

Remember the limits

Any aim assistance carries risk to your account, and subtle use does not remove that. Treat these settings as a way to play more naturally, not as a guarantee.
